Delaware Sikh Awareness Coalition (DSAC) resumed every fourth Friday lunch service at HDR to homeless and food insecure guests after it reopened earlier this month after a gap of three months due to COVID-19. We served 15 to-go lunch boxes packed with freshly cooked food in the HDR kitchen. Unlike before the coronavirus, the guest turnout is low because not everyone yet knows of the HDR reopening. Also, bus service that used to transport most of them earlier hasn’t resumed.
