Speech by my daughter, Jasmine.
What a speech, Jasmine, my daughter, made last Friday. You can see how widely and deeply happy and joyous Governor John Carney is!

Delaware’s new governor elect John Carney, he takes over on January 17th, in pictures with me here, till yesterday was also the lone congressman from the state for the last six years.
I had written it in Punjabi and my dear friend Geeta Sharma had translated it. Published today in Sunday edition of the newspaper.

Someone ploughs, comes home and showers
Someone adores kohl before warming hearth’s powers
Someone humors the heart crying hiding away in covers
Someone beats chest and wails as high as towers
One that— who from childhood is enjoying
One who in all likable trends is fully skying
One for two square meals is cringing, crying
One who is never smiling after best trying
Here lots are shames-flames of love
Here lots are tricks of the smart thumb
Here lots are facets of the worldly-glove
Here lots are the hues of Kartar-the-Rab (means God)
At INDUS, we meet every third Friday. And that was on 21st in this month. What made the day special was INDUS anniversary and extra special because we also celebrated Diwali. I am sharing a voice over and a song that I wrote to mark the “Double Dhamaka” occasion of celebration and festivity.
