A true leader, which Senator Coons is, can keenly listen and converse with all. It may not have been so difficult in this case because both knew each other since Jasmine had interned in the Senator’s office in the summer.

At INDUS, we meet every third Friday. And that was on 21st in this month. What made the day special was INDUS anniversary and extra special because we also celebrated Diwali. I am sharing a voice over and a song that I wrote to mark the “Double Dhamaka” occasion of celebration and festivity.
People who like Indian food no longer have to drive to NJ. However, scrumptious food is only available at Star of India run and owned by Ramamoorthi Ji. ITA (Indus Technology Association) recognized this unsung hero last Friday. We honored him for consistently cooking authentic, traditional and delectable North Indian food.
Louise, of US Department of State, Sumita Patnaik, Suresh Annapindi, and Lisa Blunt Rochester, running for Democratic party nomination for US congress from Delaware honored Ramamoorthi Ji with plaque as others applauded the man’s tasty touch!
INDUS had Amer Sajed (sitting next to me in the picture ), Barclaycard Global CEO, as our chief guest and keynote speaker last Friday, Dec. 18. A great person of many awesome qualities, we all had a lovely and learning time with him. The fact that he kept his commitment despite a severe injury on his foot only enhanced his respect in everyone’s heart and mind.
About a year back, I took an initiative to create a platform for South Asian technology professionals in Delaware. We call the forum Indus Technology Association (ITA) and we meet every third Friday of the month. Last month we had National Grid CTO as keynote speaker, and last Friday (November 20) we had US Congressman, John Carney. Next month it will be Barclaycard global CEO as our chief guest and keynote speaker.
