It was good to meet and greet our dear Governor of Delaware, John Carney, after Delaware recently joined “Sates for Gun Safety Coalition.” My dear friends and fellow Indian-Americans, Palash Gupta & Chai Gadde, joined me in rooting for Carney, Coalition and Peace!
What a delightful experience it was for me yesterday, in Deerfield Golf Club, where the last US ambassador to India, Richard “Rahul” Verma, 2015-17, was the keynote speaker. My daughter, Jasmine, went and introduced herself to the ambassador, on her own, and engaged him on different topics. Thanks to her even I got an opportunity to be in a picture with the man I hold in high esteem.
